Scum Cult is also gearing up for our first releases on new imprint Dirt Heritage: shit-kicker country & western, gothic folk, and the dustier elements of the scum spectrum. Some of this shit is going to make you want to call in sick and drink beer in the morning.

Scum Cult’s finest headbanging demons, HEXER, are going on tour! They’ll be playing a string of dates in July with Mutilation Rites and Lychgate and are playing The Gilead Music Festival in Wisconsin. We’ll post more as it gets closer. These shows will be unreal. You will be flayed alive with blackened riffs.

Hexer's two Scum Cult cassette releases were compiled, remastered, and released by Gilead Media on 180gram vinyl with appropriately grim and intricate packaging designed by the band [check the vellum insert].  Hexer is picking up rave reviews everywhere- as we in the Cult have always known they would: they shred faces like lawnmowers and pummel you with endless evil headbanging riffs.  Do yourself a favor and order the LP from Gilead, it will probably wake up the part of you that your job has killed.

New Scum Cult band Night Raids performed their first public ritual and are recording for a Winter 2014 release.  Night Raids is a primitive black/death/punk duo consisting of members of Superlith and Warshack: Bleak, aggressive, and raw music built on a love for Heavy Metal, thrash, and early death metal and a hatred for the life-sucking bureaucracy of war-fueled greed-pig society. Deep Possum Live @ Fjord Space

We played a show in the beginning of 2013 at Fjord Space. There were lasers and art and whiskey. Shit got weird. This guy will be available online if we ever fix our tape machine. We're working on life and getting better at it.

New Warshack Tape - SOOON(ish)

Get ready for 4 new bruisers from these guys, coming spring 2013 on a limited cassette release. After this release they take a 6-8 month hiatus as the guitarist travels to iceland in search of lichen to lick off volcanic rocks.

Just got our shit together for a bandcamp for Deep Possum. Well.., not really, we put one live basement track up from last May. Recorded with 1 mic somewhere hanging from a rafter and our good bud Chuck on second guitar, getting loose with the crew. Listen or don't.
